What is Secret Layer?

Secret Layer is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted messaging service launched in 2021. It provides secure and private communication through state-of-the-art encryption protocols to protect user privacy.

Secret Layer has released cross-platform apps for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux. It uses industry standard encryption like AES and RSA to encrypt messages and media before they leave a user's device. The encryption keys are stored only on the users' devices and no one, including Secret Layer itself, can access decrypted message contents.
