What is Sky Nations?

Sky Nations is a free-to-play, browser-based multiplayer online game where players create and manage their own nation in a persistent online world. When starting Sky Nations, players first choose the location, climate, and other attributes of their fledgling nation. Players must balance productivity, research, military might, and resource generation to grow. It features familiar 4X gameplay elements (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate).

As nations develop on the global map, players can choose to ally with or declare war against others. Alliances allow collaborative victories while wars prompt PvP battles that can gain you land and resources. Over hundreds of turns, the goal is to grow your nation to prosperity while contending with the environment, neighbors, politics, trade, and threats of attack.
