Sonicbids is an online platform launched in 1998 that helps bands, musicians, and music venues connect for performances. It functions as a marketplace and booking platform designed specifically for the music industry.
Musicians and bands can use Sonicbids to find gigs at venues, concerts, festivals and showcases and apply electronically to opportunities they find interesting. On the flip side, venues, concert promoters, festivals, brands and other music industry professionals use the platform to find talent and book artists for events, shows and tours.
As of 2022, Sonicbids has over 500,000 artists and 30,000 venues registered on the platform. Artists and bands build an EPK (electronic press kit) that venues can browse when looking for talent to book. Artists can also proactively apply for specific opportunities and gigs posted by promoters and venues.
