What is Srchub?
Srchub is a privacy-focused metasearch engine launched in 2021. It allows users to search across over 50 search engines including Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and Startpage while protecting their privacy.
Unlike traditional search engines that track user behavior and search history, Srchub removes tracking parameters from search queries before sending them to the underlying search engines. It also doesn't store IP addresses or personalized user search history.
This prevents the underlying search engines from linking queries to individual users. Srchub acts as an anonymizing proxy between the user and search engines. It fetches the results from multiple search engines, removes the tracking parameters and then displays the combined results to the user.
By searching anonymously on Srchub, users can benefit from the top search engines while maintaining their privacy. The interface is simple with options to choose different underlying search engines. Srchub also has keyboard shortcuts, theme options and other configurable settings to customize the search experience.
