Powerful but steep learning curve for smaller businesses
Stripe's API is incredibly powerful and the documentation is excellent for developers who know what they're doing. However, as a small business owner without a dedicated tech team, I found the setup process overwhelming and customer support responses were sometimes slow during critical implementation phases. Once configured, payments process reliably and the fraud protection gives me peace of mind, but I wish there were more beginner-friendly onboarding options.
