What is Teamfight Tactics?
Teamfight Tactics (TFT) is a free-to-play auto battler game developed and published by Riot Games. It takes place in the League of Legends universe and features champions, origins, classes, items and mechanics from League of Legends.
In TFT, eight players battle against each other on an eight-by-eight chess-like board. Players take turns buying and positioning champions from a shared pool to build a powerful team composition. The champions then fight the opposing teams automatically. There is no direct control over the champions once combat begins.
The goal is to build a team that can overpower the other seven opponents. Players earn gold to spend on new champions, combine items, and upgrade champions to higher tiers. The last player with champions left standing wins the match.
Matches typically take 30-40 minutes. It released in 2019 for PC and mobile devices and continues to receive regular updates with new champions, origins, classes, and game mechanics.
