What is Tilt Brush?

Tilt Brush is a groundbreaking virtual reality app that allows users to paint and create 3D artwork by using the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift headset and controllers. Developed by Google, Tilt Brush takes advantage of room-scale VR to let users walk around their creations as they would sculptures in the real world.

Users are placed in an empty three-dimensional space where they can choose from a wide variety of digital brushes, textures, colors, and effects. Tilt Brush includes helpful features for artists to use, such as undo, redo, erase, a selection tool, and saving/loading projects. Finished 3D paintings can be exported for use in other applications.
