Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is a stealth action video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. Originally released in 2002, it is the first game in the Splinter Cell series, in which players control Sam Fisher, an agent of a fictional black-ops sub-division within the NSA, using stealth tactics to avoid detection and complete objectives.
