What is AccuRadio?
AccuRadio is an ad-free online radio service that provides users with customized music streaming across a variety of genres and subgenres. It was launched in 2004 and has since grown to offer over 1000 channels of music tailored to user taste.
When setting up an AccuRadio account, users can specify their favorite artists and songs as well as genres in order to generate personalized radio stations. The streaming service's algorithm then curates playlists of music it predicts the user will enjoy based on their selections. Users can further customize stations by rating songs with a thumbs up or thumbs down to fine tune recommendations.
In addition to personalized stations, AccuRadio features over 100 preprogrammed genre stations ranging from classical to country to holiday music. Specialty channel offerings include decade stations (hits from the 50s, 60s, etc.), world music, karaoke songs, and over a dozen holiday options.
An AccuRadio account can be accessed across multiple devices via web browser as well as iOS and Android mobile apps. The service is free with ads or available ad-free for paid subscribers. Paid plans remove all audio ads from music streams and range from $3.99 to $9.99 per month based on features.
