AllSides: Balanced News Coverage

Media bias ratings website providing 2D and 3D charts to rate partisan bias of news sites and articles, promoting balanced news coverage.

What is AllSides?

AllSides is a media technology company based in the U.S. that rates bias in news reports and provides balanced news coverage. Its core product is the AllSides Media Bias RatingTM system which rates the partisan bias of hundreds of news and media outlets on a multi-dimensional media bias chart based on blind surveys of diverse Americans.

AllSides rates news articles, op-eds, think tanks and other reports across a wide spectrum of bias from far left to center to far right. These bias ratings help educate news consumers on the partisan leanings in news reports and their sources. In addition, the AllSides balanced news feed aggregates highly rated articles across the political spectrum on trending issues so readers can easily compare left wing, right wing and centrist perspectives side-by-side.

The AllSides mission is to expose media bias, end America’s political polarization crisis, and help people think for themselves. In addition to rating media bias, AllSides provides free media bias resources for consumers, schools and organizations including media bias charts, balanced news feeds, interactive blind spot tests, classroom lessons and more.
