What is AuditDashboard?
AuditDashboard is an open source auditing and compliance dashboard for infrastructure and applications. It is designed to give organizations better visibility into their assets, users, policies, and activities to help improve security analysis and regulatory compliance.
With AuditDashboard, security and compliance teams can:
- Get centralized views across infrastructure, identities, data, and applications
- Quickly review user access and entitlements
- Identify policy violations and anomalous activity
- Speed investigation workflows with contextual alerts and analytics
- Produce audit-ready reports for regulators
It comes preloaded with over 300 dashboards, reports, and use cases but also allows creating custom content. The dashboards provide graphical overviews while the log explorer enables drilling down into granular event details.
AuditDashboard runs as a container and ingests log data from popular data sources like AWS CloudTrail, Azure AD, Office 365, GitHub, and custom applications. It can scale across multicloud and on-premises environments.
The project is open source under the Apache 2.0 license and developed by GitLab. Organizations can deploy it themselves or use GitLab's SaaS version that comes with additional features like storage management, access controls, and professional services.
