What is Barcodi: QR & Barcode Reader?

Barcodi is a free app for Android devices that allows users to scan various types of barcodes and QR codes using their device's camera. Developed by Gamma-System, Barcodi has a straightforward and intuitive interface that makes barcode and QR code scanning quick and easy.

After downloading and opening the Barcodi app, users are taken directly into the scanning interface which uses the phone's rear camera to scan codes in real-time. The app can read a wide variety of 1D and 2D barcode types including UPC, EAN, Code 39, Code 128, QR Codes, Data Matrix, ISBN, and more. Scanned codes instantly display on screen along with options to copy, share or search for additional details.

In addition to live scanning capabilities, Barcodi also allows users to import barcodes from image files stored on their device. The history tab shows previously scanned codes for quick access later. Settings allow users to switch between the rear and front-facing cameras, change scan preferences, and more.

An ad-supported version of Barcodi is available free of charge from the Google Play Store. There is also a paid pro version without ads and with a few additional features like cloud backup of scanning history.
