What is Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies?

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies is a first-person shooter zombie survival mode developed by Treyarch and published by Activision as part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops video game. It can be played solo or cooperatively with up to 4 players online or locally as they fight endless waves of zombies across various maps like Kino Der Toten, Ascension, Call of the Dead, Shangri-La, Moon and Nacht Der Untoten.

Players must survive as long as possible against the zombie horde by barricading areas, exploring the map to find better weapons and power-ups, and working together to revive downed teammates. As the game progresses, the zombies become faster and deadlier. The game features both story-driven maps that expand on the Call of Duty zombie storyline as well as traditional survival maps.

Key features include a leveling up system, customizable loadouts, special attacks, weapons and equipment to unlock, leaderboards, solo Quick Revive option to revive yourself, colorful 1980s aesthetics and personalities like John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon and Sarah Michelle Gellar making appearances. There is no winning, only seeing how many rounds players can survive before the zombies inevitably overrun them.
