Chromium B.S.U. is an open-source, freeware vertical scrolling space shoot 'em up game originally developed by Mark B. Allan under the title Chromium. The player controls a small, highly maneuverable starship and battles endless waves of enemies while avoiding obstacles and enemy fire.

Gameplay is fast-paced and arcade-style, with a retro pixel art aesthetic and chiptune soundtrack.
