Discover Contraption Maker, a physics-based puzzle game where you build chain reaction contraptions using interactive parts to accomplish tasks in each level.
Contraption Maker is a physics-based puzzle game developed by The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild. Players build Rube Goldberg-style chain reaction contraptions using various interactive parts such as ramps, catapults, bumpers, conveyor belts, and more.
The goal in each level is to accomplish a set of objectives by having the player's contraption set off a chain reaction that reaches all the objectives. For example, objectives may include launching a ball to hit a target, knocking over a stack of boxes, or setting off a firework display. Players must carefully arrange and connect contraption parts so they interact with each other in the right way when set in motion.
As players progress through the game, new types of interactive parts are introduced, allowing for more complex contraptions. The game has a sandbox mode for freeform building as well, with Steam Workshop support allowing players to create and share contraptions. The physics simulation means all contraptions operate according to the laws of physics for an added challenge.
With its colorful artwork, zany chain reactions, and open-ended creative opportunities, Contraption Maker delivers hours of mechanical fun for puzzle game fans and amateur Rube Goldberg machine builders alike.
