What is Forgotify?

Forgotify is a web application built on top of the Spotify music streaming platform. It highlights songs on Spotify that have never been played before - songs that are essentially 'forgotten' given the vastness of Spotify's catalog.

When a user visits the Forgotify website, they are instantly played a random song from Spotify that currently has zero plays. There is an endless supply of these little-heard tracks. Users can skip from one unplayed song to the next, exploring music they would likely never come across on their own.

The purpose of Forgotify is to give lesser-known artists a chance at being discovered. With over 30 million tracks on Spotify, it's very difficult for more obscure bands and musicians to get attention. Forgotify aims to bring listeners to those hidden corners of Spotify's catalog.
