What is Fretsi?
Fretsi is an open-source digital audio workstation (DAW) and MIDI sequencer software application for Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems. Developed by a community of musicians and programmers, Fretsi aims to provide a free alternative to premium DAWs like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, while maintaining professional-grade features and workflow.
As a DAW, Fretsi enables users to record, edit, mix and master audio tracks with effects plugins. It supports VST and AU plugins, multitrack editing, automation, surround sound, tempo matching and other standard DAW features expected by audio engineers and music producers.
