What is Goodtime?

Goodtime is a free and open source productivity timer application available for Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. It aims to help users improve focus and productivity by leveraging the Pomodoro Technique.

The Pomodoro Technique breaks work down into timed intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Goodtime allows users to customize the length of work and break sessions.

During work sessions, Goodtime can block distracting websites and applications like Facebook, YouTube, and games. This eliminates digital distractions and helps users concentrate on the task at hand. The interface shows a countdown timer for the current Pomodoro session and allows users to create customizable tasks and labels to track what they are working on.

On Linux, Goodtime integrates directly with desktop environments like GNOME to inhibit notifications during sessions. It also supports productivity dashboards and statistics to analyze how time is spent. Customizable alarms and break reminders are included as well.
