What is Habbo?
Habbo is an online virtual community and social networking platform targeted primarily at teenagers. It allows users to create their own customizable avatar characters and explore a virtual hotel comprised of thousands of different rooms designed and built by other community members.
In these multiplayer chat rooms, Habbo users can interact and communicate with each other through their avatars. They can explore different user-generated rooms, participate in games, create and trade virtual items, and attend events put on by Habbo staff members and room creators.
A key feature of Habbo is the ability for users to design and furnish their own unique rooms that other players can then visit. Furniture and other items used to decorate these rooms can be purchased with credits or won in games and contests.
