Kingdoms and Castles is a city-building strategy video game series developed and published by Lion Shield. The first game in the series was released in 2017 for Windows and Mac. A sequel, Kingdoms and Castles 2, was released in 2022.

In the Kingdoms and Castles games, players take on the role of a newly appointed lord tasked with building and managing a prosperous kingdom in a procedurally generated landscape during the Middle Ages. Gameplay revolves around designing, constructing, and maintaining a fledgling settlement as it grows into a thriving city, all while balancing economic, technological, and defensive advancement.
