Loxone Smart Home is a home automation system that allows you to control lighting, heating, security, entertainment, and more from a central interface. It uses a centralized controller and Miniservers, wired or wireless control panels, to connect devices and integrate systems throughout the home.

What is Loxone Smart Home?

Loxone Smart Home is a comprehensive home automation solution designed for new builds as well as retrofits. At the core of the system is the Loxone Miniserver, an intelligent control box that manages connected devices, processes inputs and triggers, and handles automation rules and scheduling.

Miniservers communicate with various wireless and wired peripherals throughout the home including lighting controls, HVAC, shading, security systems, multi-room audio, CCTV cameras, and more. Loxone Air technology enables integration of battery-powered wireless switches, sensors, tree-top electronics, and the Loxone Touch Pure smart touchscreen.

The Miniserver runs the Loxone OS operating system and users can access robust programming, monitoring, and control options through the Loxone Config software. This allows advanced customization of lighting scenes, climate control, access and security settings, multi-media environments, notification alerts and more.
