What is LXMusic?

LXMusic is a fast, resource-friendly open source music player for Linux systems, especially designed for the LXQt desktop environment. It features a simple yet elegant user interface with an interactive playlist, equalizer, volume control and media library functions.

Despite being lightweight, LXMusic comes packed with essential features for an enjoyable music listening experience. It supports a wide range of audio formats including MP3, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV and more. Playback features like shuffle and repeat are provided along with an integrated equalizer to tweak audio output.

Media library management is one of the highlights of LXMusic. It automatically indexes and organizes songs into Artists, Albums, Genres for easy browsing and playback. Users can also create custom playlists to queue up songs for uninterrupted listening sessions. LXMusic also facilitates editing ID3 tags with album cover support.
