What is LyricalPro?
LyricalPro is a software designed specifically for songwriters and musicians to assist with lyric and melody writing. It provides a variety of tools to facilitate and expedite the songwriting process.
The brainstorming feature allows users to input keywords and ideas which LyricalPro then expands into related words and phrases to spark inspiration. There is also a rhyming dictionary to help find rhyming schemes for lyrics. Users can tap out melodies which the software will transcribe, analyze key and tempo, and make suggestions to develop the melody.
One of the key features of LyricalPro is its song structure and formatting capabilities. The song sections tool allows writers to define common song sections like verse, chorus, bridge, etc. and the software structures it into a standard song layout. The lyrics editor has formatting options for punctuation, capitalization, syllabification to polish lyrics. Users can program instrument beats, basslines, and backing chords to create a custom musical composition.
