What is Maian Music?
Maian Music is a digital audio workstation and music notation software designed for composing, arranging, recording, editing and playing back music. It provides an easy-to-use graphical interface that allows users to enter music notation quickly and easily.
With Maian Music, users can enter notes and chords with the mouse, computer keyboard or a MIDI instrument. It supports standard Western music notation including multiple clefs, key signatures, time signatures, complex meters, grace notes, tuplets, fermata, articulations and more. The intuitive piano roll view allows for manipulation of MIDI data and editing velocities, controller data and other MIDI events.
Music can be recorded in real-time via a MIDI instrument or imported from an existing MIDI file. An audio track timelines allows users to import, record and edit audio alongside the musical score. Virtual instruments and effects plugins can be used to enhance the sound during playback.
Finished scores can be played back with full audio and MIDI rendering. Sheet music can also be printed, exported to PDF or graphic files, or shared online. Maian Music offers versions for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.
