MainRest is an open-source restaurant point-of-sale and management system designed specifically for small to mid-sized independent restaurants. It is an all-in-one solution that includes a variety of features to handle key restaurant operations:
- Table management - MainRest allows you to easily manage floor plans, track table status, and assign servers
- Order taking - Servers can quickly enter orders which are sent directly to the kitchen or bar. The system supports modifiers, addons, notes, etc.
- Payment processing - MainRest integrates with various payment processors to handle credit cards, debit cards, gift cards, and split payments
- Kitchen management - MainRest allows you to create an unlimited menu with modifiers/addons and send orders to appropriate prep stations. It includes ticket printing and bump bar functionality.
- Reporting and analytics - Track all sales data in real-time. MainRest generates 40+ key reports on sales, labor, voids, discounts and more.
- Inventory management - Create recipes and track stock of ingredients. Generate purchase orders and transfer items across locations.
- Loyalty programs - Create customized loyalty programs to encourage repeat business.
