Narwhal is a privacy-focused web browser that is built on top of Mozilla Firefox. Its main focus is on protecting user privacy and preventing online tracking by default.
When you browse the web with Narwhal, it automatically blocks ads, tracking cookies, fingerprinting, cryptocurrency mining, and other techniques used to monitor your online activity without consent. This stops companies from collecting your personal data to sell or use for targeted advertising.
In addition to tracker/ad blocking, Narwhal also includes other privacy features like HTTPS Everywhere to force encrypted HTTPS connections, a built-in VPN, and customized search options like Startpage and DuckDuckGo that don't store user search histories. It also has a simplified browser UI without a lot of the extra menus and options that Firefox has.
