Stream music from services like Spotify, Pandora, and Deezer simultaneously to multiple Play-Fi speakers across different rooms
Play-Fi is a proprietary wireless multi-room audio software platform developed by DTS, a subsidiary of Xperi Corporation. It enables home audio devices from different manufacturers to connect through Wi-Fi and stream audio from music services, stored files, internet radio stations and other compatible devices simultaneously to multiple speakers set up across the home.
With Play-Fi, users can group Play-Fi compatible speakers placed in different rooms to create a whole-home audio system. For example, you can group your living room speaker, kitchen speaker and bedroom speaker to play the same song on all three speakers in sync. Or you can play different songs on different speakers. Grouping and ungrouping speakers is simple through the Play-Fi app.
Play-Fi integrates with over 20 streaming music services like Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, Deezer and internet radio services like iHeartRadio and TuneIn. It supports lossless High-Resolution Audio playbacks. You can also stream music stored locally on your phone, tablet, laptop or network storage devices.
Play-Fi doesn't require a central hub or bridge. Each speaker comes equipped with Play-Fi wireless technology built-in. Popular Play-Fi enabled devices include wireless speakers and home theater systems from brands like Polk Audio, Definitive Technology, Klipsch and Onkyo. Play-Fi also works with the Sonos app to enable Sonos speakers for multi-room streaming.
