What is Posture Reminder?

Posture Reminder is a lightweight desktop application designed to improve sitting posture for computer users. By periodically displaying friendly reminders and prompts, the app helps reinforce good habits and reduce the risk of developing back, neck, and shoulder pain.

Every 20 minutes (by default), Posture Reminder will briefly overlay a small notification on the user's screen. This notification may advise rolling the shoulders back, straightening the spine, taking a short break from typing to stretch, or making other simple posture adjustments. The reminders only stay on screen briefly before disappearing automatically.

Users can customize the frequency of reminders to fit their needs. The app allows setting reminders to display as often as every 5 minutes or as little as once per hour. An intuitive slider makes it easy to adjust settings.
