What is Quiplash?

Quiplash is a party video game developed and published by Jackbox Games as part of The Jackbox Party Pack series. It was first released in 2015 as a part of The Jackbox Party Pack 2.

The game pits players against each other in a competition to come up with the funniest responses to prompt questions and fill-in-the-blank statements. It's designed for 3-8 players, with any number of additional audience members able to vote on the funniest answers.

Play takes place in two rounds. In each round, players are shown the same prompts and have a short time limit to enter an answer from their internet-connected device (phone, tablet, laptop). The answers are then shown to all players anonymously, and players vote on which they think is funniest. Players earn points based on the percentage of vote their answer receives. Quiplash XL allows up to 10 players.

Quiplash's humor comes from creative, witty, and humorous responses as players try to out-funny each other. Its simple format and focus on humor makes it a popular choice for parties, gatherings, streams, and videos.
