ShaChat focuses heavily on user security and privacy. All communications through the app, including messages, files transfers and calls, are protected by end-to-end encryption. This means only the participating users can read the messages, not even ShaChat itself. The encryption protocols used are based on advanced cryptography to ensure conversations remain confidential.
In addition to encrypted messaging, ShaChat supports encrypted voice and video calls for private conversations. Group chats with up to 500 participants are allowed. Users can also share files, photos, videos and contacts securely.
