SidTracker64 is a music tracker application designed specifically for creating chiptune and oldschool music inspired by the sound of the Commodore 64's SID chip. It allows musicians and composers to use modern computers and operating systems to produce music similar to that made on the C64 and other 8-bit platforms in the 1980s and 90s.

The interface is modeled after classic DOS-based trackers like FastTracker II, with a pattern-based layout for entering note data and effects. It supports the full range of sounds and effects possible with the SID chip and allows for up to 8 channel music to be created.

SidTracker64 aims to provide as authentic a C64 music creation experience as possible while removing the limitations of working on original hardware. It runs natively on Windows, Linux and macOS systems. The built-in sidplayer can render songs to WAV for export, and native support for the HVSC song length standard allows songs to target accuracy for demo and cracktro compositions.
