Snapdrop is a free, open source, peer-to-peer file sharing web application that allows users to easily transfer files between devices on the same local network without requiring an internet connection or account setup.
Users simply go to snapdrop.net on any device on their network to get started. Snapdrop creates a temporary web server on the user's device, allowing other devices on the network to connect to it directly via the web browser. Users pick the files they want to send, and Snapdrop handles the peer-to-peer file transfer behind the scenes using WebRTC technology.
