What is Sofistik?

Sofistik is a comprehensive structural analysis and design software application targeted primarily for civil and structural engineers. It provides advanced modeling, calculation and design tools for analyzing various structure types such as buildings, bridges, tanks, towers etc. under different loading conditions.

The software utilizes finite element method for structural analysis. It can perform linear and non-linear calculations, modal analysis, natural frequency analysis and dynamic analysis to simulate structural behavior under static loads, dynamic loads and environmental loads like wind, temperature, snow etc. Various international design codes are supported for reinforced concrete, steel, timber and composite design.

Sofistik has an intuitive and customizable CAD-like interface to quickly create structural models. It generates well-arranged reports, plans, quantity takeoffs, reinforcement detailing drawings automatically from the structural model, saving significant time and effort. The software also provides interfaces to import from and export 3D models to various engineering design formats. An integrated Sofiplus toolbox provides several additional plugins and interoperability tools.
