A unique comic book art style brings a tropical fantasy land to life, where you play as a trio of characters solving puzzles and uncovering mysteries in this point-and-click adventure game series.

What is The Journey Down (Series)?

The Journey Down is an episodic series of point-and-click adventure games developed by SkyGoblin. The series follows Bwana and Kito, two friends operating a dodgy gas station in the middle of nowhere. When their journalist friend Lina goes missing after uncovering a secret, it's up to Bwana and Kito to embark on a journey to solve the mystery.

The hand-drawn comic book style visuals and colorful characters make The Journey Down stand out from traditional adventure games. Throughout the story, you'll explore cities, solve intricate puzzles, talk to strange people, and unravel a global conspiracy together with Bwana and Kito. The games reminisce the golden era of classic LucasArts and Sierra adventures while adding some African culture and a touch of noir.

With clever dialogue, challenging puzzles, an immersive story, and memorable characters, The Journey Down offers an entertaining adventure experience. The trilogy contains themes of corruption, environmentalism, exploitation and capitalism conveyed through mystery and humor.
