Too Good To Go is an app and company based in Denmark that aims to reduce food waste from restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, etc. It connects these food businesses to individual users who can buy and collect the unsold surplus food at the end of the day at a heavily discounted price.

Here's how it works: Food businesses that have leftover food that would otherwise be thrown out can list what they have available on the Too Good To Go app, along with the discounted price, pickup time, etc. Nearby users browsing the app can then purchase one of these food bags/items, show up at the designated time, and collect it. This allows the food businesses to recoup some money rather than tossing edible leftovers, and users get to buy food at a significant discount.

Too Good To Go has expanded from Denmark to 15+ countries in Europe and also recently launched in the United States and Canada. Reviews indicate it offers a wide variety of food at an average discount of around 70% off retail prices. The app has reportedly helped save over 100 million meals from being wasted since its founding in 2016.
