What is Umit Network Scanner?
Umit Network Scanner is a free, open source and cross-platform network scanner designed to be fast and simple to use, while also providing advanced features for power users. It can be used for a variety of tasks including:
- Network inventory - Discover all devices on your network, gather information like OS, hostname, MAC addresses, etc.
- Managing service upgrade schedules - Find systems running outdated software that need to be upgraded.
- Monitoring host or service uptime - Umit can periodically scan your network and notify you if any hosts or services become unavailable.
