What is Unshortn?

Unshortn is a free online tool that expands shortened URLs to reveal the full original links. It supports decoding shortened links from popular services like bit.ly, goo.gl, ow.ly, tinyurl.com, and many more.

Shortened links are commonly used on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to save characters. However, clicking on these links means you don't actually know where they lead before visiting them. Unshortn lets you preview the final destination of a shortened link to see if it directs to a legitimate website.

To use Unshortn, simply paste a shortened URL into the search bar and click Decode. The site will then make a request to the URL shortening service's database to lookup and display the original long URL that the shortened link points to. This helps you identify sketchy or suspicious links shared on social sites before clicking.

In addition to decoding single links at a time, Unshortn also offers a bulk URL expander feature. This allows you to upload a CSV file with multiple shortened links to decode the full URLs for all of them in one go.
