Warlock is an American science fiction television series that aired on ABC from September 1976 to January 1977. The series stars Richard Thomas as David Warner, a warlock living in modern times who uses his magical abilities to help people in need. However, David is also on the run from another warlock named Ian Curry (Peter Haskell) who wants to capture and neutralize his powers.

The premise follows David as he travels across time to various historical periods in order to avoid capture by Ian Curry. In each time period, David takes on a new identity and helps various people he encounters using his magical gifts. The series incorporated different historical time periods and locations into its storytelling, including the Old West, feudal Japan, and England during the Second World War.

While quite short-lived, with only 12 episodes produced, Warlock was notable for combining elements of the popular sci-fi and fantasy genres of the day with more dramatic, character-driven storytelling. The series explored deeper themes about the responsibility of power and what it means to be human. While the ratings were low during its initial run, the series went on to attract a cult following over the years.
