What is ZFTPServer Suite?
zFTPServer Suite is a versatile FTP server software for Windows that offers a wide range of features for business and personal use. Developed by Västgöta-Data AB based in Sweden, it supports all major FTP protocols including FTP, FTPS, SFTP, TFTP and HTTPS.
It comes with an easy-to-use administrative interface to manage FTP user accounts and permissions. The software offers AD/LDAP integration for access management based on Active Directory or LDAP servers. It supports IP filtering to control access at IP and subnet mask level. Bandwidth throttling feature allows limiting speed of specific users.
Security is the highlights of zFTPServer Suite. It offers SSL/TLS encryption for transfering files securely. Supported protocols include SSL v2, SSL v3, TLS v1, TLS v1.1 and TLS v1.2. For SFTP transfers, hostkey exchange mechanisms like diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 and diffie-hellman-group14-sha1 can be used.
Useful features include powerful logging capability, automatic updates, scheduling file transfers, virtual file system, remote administration, custom commands and scripts execution etc. Multiple languages are supported including English, Swedish, Russian, German, Italian etc.
zFTPServer Suite offers free trial for 30 days. Licenses start from around $250 for businesses based on number of clients. Free licenses are available for personal and educational use supporting up to 5 client connections.
