What is 75 Hard?

75 Hard is an intense physical, mental, and emotional fitness program developed by podcaster and CEO Andy Frisella. It challenges participants to follow a specific list of daily tasks for 75 days straight, with no cheat days or excuses allowed.

The rules of the 75 Hard challenge are:

  • Follow a diet with no cheat meals and no alcohol for 75 days
  • Work out twice per day for 45 minutes each session - with one workout being outside regardless of the weather
  • Drink at least 1 gallon of water per day
  • Read 10 pages of a nonfiction personal development book per day
  • Take a progress photo each day

The purpose of the 75 Hard challenge is to build extreme mental toughness, self-discipline, better habits and fitness. It aims to prove to people that they are capable of accomplishing difficult goals through commitment and consistency. The restrictive diet, two-a-day workouts, self-improvement reading and daily progress tracking are designed to push participants outside their comfort zones.
