What is Adeona?

Adeona is a free and open source software that helps users locate lost or stolen laptops. It works by silently reporting and tracking the laptop's location periodically so that even if it gets stolen or lost, the legitimate owner is able to locate and retrieve it.

Once installed on a laptop, Adeona continues to run in the background logging the device's IP address and taking periodic screenshots.
