What is ARP ODYSSEi?

ARP ODYSSEi is a virtual analog synthesizer plugin inspired by classic synths of the 1970s and 1980s. Developed by ARP, it authentically recreates the analog sound of vintage synths with two voltage-controlled oscillators, a multi-mode filter, dual envelope generators, LFO, and built-in effects.

The dual oscillators offer a choice of waveform shapes including sawtooth, pulse, and noise for sculpting complex timbres. The multi-mode filter provides low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, and notch filtering with 24dB/octave slopes to shape tones. Envelopes and LFO modulate filter, pitch, pulse width, and amplitude for animation effects.

ODYSSEi also features an arpeggiator with classic synth-style patterns, portamento for glide effects, and a virtual analog-style effects section with chorusing, EQ, delay, reverb and distortion. The plugin comes with over 140 factory presets designed by acclaimed sound designers.
