BlazBlue is a 2D fighting game series developed and published by Arc System Works. First released in 2008 with BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, the series stands out for its gorgeous anime-style 2D graphics, crazy over-the-top fighting action, in-depth fighting game mechanics, and complex storytelling.

The first game introduced characters like Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion, and Rachel Alucard. It featured a story mode and additional game modes like arcade, versus, training, and challenge modes.
