What is CryptNote?

CryptNote is a free, open-source note taking and organization application developed by Appformed. It has a focus on providing a high level of privacy and security for user data.

With CryptNote, all notes, bookmarks, and other content created in the app is encrypted using the AES-256 encryption standard before being stored locally on the user's device. A master password set by the user is required to decrypt and access the data. CryptNote does not send or sync data to any external servers or services by default, keeping the user's information private.

In the app, users can create formatted text notes, to-do lists, organize bookmarks for quick access, set reminders and more.
