What is EDominations?

eDominations is a free, browser-based, massively multiplayer online real time strategy (MMORTS) game. Players start the game as the leader of a fledgling nation, responsible for building infrastructure, directing domestic policy, trading with allies, and commanding armies to defend against enemies or conquer new territory.

The core gameplay revolves around growing and strengthening your nation by constructing buildings like factories, hospitals, schools, power plants, and barracks in your cities, researching military technologies, training soldiers and workers, exploiting natural resources, and managing the happiness and prosperity of your citizens. Taxes on citizens and trade with other nations generate revenue to fund expansion.

As in the real world, diplomacy and relations with other players are key. Players can communicate, form alliances for trade and defense pacts, share intelligence on common enemies, jointly declare war, or provide direct military assistance to allies. The game world persists even when you're not logged on, so moves must be made strategically in anticipation of what rival nations could do.

The goal is to grow your nation to become an economic, technological, and military superpower while preventing other nations from becoming strong enough to threaten your supremacy. With over 100,000 players controlling nations across the persistent world map, politics, diplomacy, spying, and warfare take on real stakes.
