What is War of Nations?
War of Nations is a free-to-play massively multiplayer online real-time strategy (MMORTS) game developed and published by GREE. The game is set in a persistent world populated by thousands of other players.
In War of Nations, players start by establishing a base and progressively building up an army of infantry, vehicles, aircraft and ships. There are hundreds of different units and buildings to unlock, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. Key resources such as oil, metal and gold must be accumulated in order to expand.
The main goal is to conquer territories on the huge world map, which contains dozens of different geographic regions. Players can attack the bases of other players or computer-controlled neutral regions. Multiplayer PvP battles involve strategic unit composition and tactical skills to outmaneuver the enemy.
There are global leaderboards tracking players' progress, and Alliance systems allowing groups of players to band together. The game receives frequent content updates introducing new units, buildings, features and special events.
