What is FenixEdu Academic?

FenixEdu Academic is an open-source, web-based student information system and campus management software designed specifically for higher education institutions. It was originally developed at the University of Aveiro in Portugal and is now used by universities worldwide.

FenixEdu provides a comprehensive set of tools to manage all aspects of an academic institution, including:

• Student records - manage student registration, enrollment, grades, transcripts, fees payment, and more
• Course management - create courses, manage curricula and programs of study, assign instructors
• Class scheduling - schedule courses, allocate classrooms, manage enrollment limits
• Examinations - plan exam timetables, register students, publish grades
• Human resources - track personnel data, contracts, payments, leave plans
