What is FullPak (Replaced by ZTOR3)?
FullPak was launched in 2015 as an encrypted cloud storage service that aimed to provide more privacy and security for users' files stored online. It utilized client-side encryption to ensure only the user had access to decrypted versions of their data uploaded to FullPak's servers.
Key features of FullPak included zero-knowledge privacy so even FullPak employees could not view user files, secure sharing capabilities to privately collaborate with others, and distributed storage across multiple data centers to improve resilience. It positioned itself as a more trusted and ethical alternative to mainstream cloud services.
However, in 2019 FullPak announced it was shutting down and that users should migrate their data to its sister company ZTOR3 instead. ZTOR3 was launched by the same team to essentially replace FullPak using updated security methods and infrastructure. The transition aimed to retain user privacy while improving the technology behind the service.
