What is Gospel Library?

The Gospel Library is a mobile application created and provided for free by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as an official resource for studying the gospel. It includes the full text of the Bible in several translations as well as the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price in many languages.

In the Gospel Library, users can highlight passages, bookmark verses, link between related verses with selectable footnotes, display and search definitions of key terms, create study notebooks to compile teachings by topic, mark teachings from General Conference addresses, access maps of where teachings were given, tag content, create daily study plans, and so forth.

Additionally, the Gospel Library contains the full text of official Church lesson manuals, general conference talks spanning decades in the English language, issues of the Ensign and other Church magazines, music from the Church including hymns and children's songs, videos like Bible videos and other gospel-themed media, and more.

The app provides options to limit data usage for low bandwidth areas, works offline once content is downloaded, and has text-to-speech functionality. It is optimized for quick searching, ability to bookmark and highlight favorite passages, linking between study resources, and creating personalized study plans.
