What is Grand Battle?

Grand Battle is a turn-based strategy game designed for 2 to 6 players. Each player controls an army composed of different troop types like infantry, cavalry, siege weapons, heroes and more. The battle takes place on a hexagonal map representing cities, forests, mountains and other terrain.

On their turn, each player can move their units, initiate combat against enemy units, capture neutral or enemy cities to gain resources, and achieve certain objectives depending on the game mode. There is a fog of war system where unexplored areas of the map or distant enemy units are hidden.

There are a few game modes to choose from. In deathmatch, the goal is to eliminate all other players by capturing their home cities. In co-op mode, players work together against AI enemies. There is also a team mode where players divide into teams and compete to control the most cities after a certain number of turns.

There are hero units with special abilities that can turn the tide of battle if used strategically. Players also manage production queues in their cities to produce more troops. As players capture more cities, their production capacity and resource income increase.

There is also a campaign mode against the AI with handcrafted scenarios and objectives. In addition, players can design their own custom maps and tweak certain rules to create new game variants.

With its focus on strategic gameplay and a wide variety of maps, armies and scenarios, Grand Battle offers an exciting turn-based experience whether playing solo against the AI, cooperatively, or competitively against friends.
